Getting Started
Welcome to CryptoVote, the platform that lets you make decisions using blockchain technology. This documentation will help you understand how to use our platform effectively.
Connecting Your Wallet
To participate in voting, you'll need to connect your Phantom wallet. Click the "Connect Phantom" button in the top right corner of the homepage. If you don't have Phantom wallet installed, you'll be prompted to install it first.
Voting on Proposals
Once your wallet is connected, you can vote on any active proposal. Your voting power is proportional to your Solana wallet balance. To vote:
- Browse the active proposals on the homepage
- Click either "Yes" or "No" on any proposal
- Confirm the transaction in your Phantom wallet
- Your vote will be recorded on the blockchain
Creating Proposals
To create a new proposal, click the "Submit Proposal" button. Fill out the form with your proposal details:
- Email address (for notifications)
- Proposal title (question format works best)
- Description with context
- Category
- Voting duration
API Documentation
CryptoVote offers a public API for developers who want to integrate with our platform. The API documentation is currently under development and will be available soon.
